The Commons Law Center provides affordable flat-rate and sliding-scale legal services to income qualified people in Oregon.

On this page, you'll find information on income limits, the legal services we offer, and how much it could cost to get your legal matter resolved using The Commons Law Center. Use the interactive tool below to find out if you qualify and what your legal fees would be for people at your income level.

Pre-Qualification Guidelines

We can only help qualified clients who live at or below 400% of the federal poverty level.  

You may qualify for our services if your monthly income (before taxes or any expenses) is less than the amount listed below, based on household size. Household typically includes the people you file taxes with. Your income determines how much you will pay for legal services.

The Commons Law Center ("The Commons") is a legal non-profit dedicated to improving access to justice by providing affordable, quality legal help to Oregon residents.  Fees are on a sliding scale based on your income, and over half of all Oregonians qualify for services.
